Alexandra-Maria-Lara

Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is a Romanian TV presenter and actress. She's best known as the star of Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control, and Rush. The only child of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu, Alexandra started her career in show business in the early years of her life. By the time she reached the age of sixteen, she had secured prominent roles in a variety of television dramas. Her fame was due to her role on Der Tunnel. This paved for her to play other memorable performances, like Adolf Hitler's secretariat Traudl Junge. The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex are the other Oscar nominees featuring models. Through the years, Alexandra has worked in several notable international and national projects. These include British biographical Control Greek drama film The Dust of Time and the French historical miniseries Napoleon and many more. Additionally, she was part of both jury for the Cannes Film Festival jury and Transylvania International Film Festival.
