Matthew Matt James was conceived in North Carolina, on the 5th of December 1991. Matthew Matt James a mixed-race father of Manny James (of Jamaican descendance) and Patty James. The father of Manny James is Nigerian while his mother is caucasian American. When he graduated of Sanderson High School, in 2010 he enrolled at Wake Forest University and obtained his Bachelor's in Economics. James gained fame when the show The Bachelorette as a reality TV celebrity. James was chosen in 2020 as the new bachelor on The Bachelor season 25, becoming the show's debut African American male star. The season premiered later that year. James would be a perfect match to play the role because is tall, beautiful and hilarious. Rachael Krokconnell won the competition by allowing James to establish an intimate relationship with her. He teamed up with the well-known dancing star Arnold in 2021 to compete in the 30th season of Dancing with the Stars. James as well as Arnold placed 12th in the show.
