Amal Clooney
Amal Clooney was Amal A. Alamuddin. She is an Lebanese British attorney and rights activist. After graduating from Oxford University School of Law she pursued an extensive and successful career in human rights and international law. Some of her clients are the people of Armenia that is fighting against the Turkish government over the acceptance and apology for Armenia's Armenian Genocide. Amal Clooney was engaged and then married American actor George Clooney in 2014 instantly becoming a household name within pop entertainment. Prior to this, she was already well-known and respected in legal circles because she consistently represented her clients with skill and success. In the past, she has dealt with human and social rights issues as well as representing multi-national corporations in court cases and negotiations over the regulations of government. In 2015 and beyond she served as a barrister in British court at Doughty Street Chambers.
